The portal, on your phone's screen

It opens full screen, with the MD Trade logo, and you stay logged in. It doesn't go through Google Play or the App Store: you add it straight from the browser, in two taps, and it takes up as much space as a shortcut.

Android · Chrome

If the red button above didn't show up, you can do it from Chrome's menu.

  1. Open the MD Trade portal
  2. Tap the three-dot menu, top right
  3. Choose Install and create a shortcut
  4. Of the two, tap Install

“Create shortcut” just adds a link that still opens in Chrome, with the address bar and a faded icon. Install adds the real app.

iPhone / iPad · Safari

It has to be opened in Safari. It can't be done from Chrome on iPhone — that's Apple's decision, which is why there's no button on iPhone.

  1. Open the MD Trade portal in Safari
  2. Tap Share, at the bottom center
  3. Scroll the list and choose Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add, top right

Questions people ask anyway

Does it take up space on the phone?
Practically no. It's not a downloaded app, it's a shortcut that remembers the portal opens full screen.
Does it work without internet?
No, and that's intentional. Your account's prices and availability are read live; a price kept in the phone's memory would be an outdated price. No signal tells you plainly that you have no signal.
Do I have to log in every time?
No. The session stays open, like in any app.
How do I remove it?
Like any icon: press and hold it, then choose to remove it. The account stays untouched.
