Warranty

How long

Products sold by MD TRADE CONCEPT SRL carry a 24-month warranty from the invoice date against defects in materials and workmanship, provided they have been stored, installed and used correctly.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Glass broken, scratched or chipped after acceptance (visible defects must be reported on delivery, as set out in the B2B Terms).
  • Installation that does not follow the manufacturer's instructions, the permitted dimensions and loads or good workmanship.
  • Normal wear of wear parts (seals, brushes, rollers, dampers) and periodic adjustments.
  • Corrosion or discoloration caused by aggressive environments (chlorinated pools, coastal areas, abrasive or acidic cleaning agents) or lack of maintenance.
  • Products modified, repaired by third parties or used for purposes other than intended.

How to make a claim

  • Write to vanzari@mdtrade.ro or to your sales agent, with the invoice number, product code, a description of the problem and photos or videos.
  • Report the defect as soon as you notice it. Do not continue installation or use the product if the defect could make things worse or endanger people.
  • We examine the claim and, if it is justified, repair or replace the product or, if that is not possible, refund the price. Repair or replacement is carried out within 15 days of receiving the product, unless another period is agreed (Art. 1716 Romanian Civil Code).
  • Removal and reinstallation costs are not included unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you sell to a consumer

When you resell products to a consumer, you owe them the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity (Directive (EU) 2019/771, Romanian GEO 140/2021) and, from 27 September 2026, information by means of the harmonised notice laid down in Regulation (EU) 2025/1960. The official template of the notice is published in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2025/1960. If a product bought from us is non-conforming, you may claim against us under Article 16 of GEO 140/2021.
